Communiqué On Inspection for Conformity to Standards on Import (Product Safety and Inspection: 2013/1)

The purpose of this Communiqué is to regulate principles and procedures for the inspection of the products, standards of which are laid down in Annex 1, regarding their conformity to related standards or technical legislations on import. All procedures relating to import inspection of the products, standards of which are laid down in Annex 1 to the Communiqué, shall be handled via Risk Based Control System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS) and in accordance with the risk analysis. The Communiqué covers the details of Risk Based Control System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS) implementation.
Considering the last year s corresponding Communiqué, there are many important changes in implementation. Most parts of the Communiqué enter into force on 15.Feb.2013, whereas certain provisions enter into force on 01.Jan.2013 and 07.July.2013.
Products importation of which are subject to Conformity Inspection are listed in Annex 1 of the Communiqué. HS codes and explanation of the products are laid down along with TSE Standard which such products are subject to, in aforesaid annex (as shown in the sample below)
