The purpose of this Communiqué is to regulate the principles and procedures regarding imports of the products, laid down in Appendices, that are subject to the inspection of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, relating to the human health and safety, animal and plant existence and health.

For the import of the products laid down in (Annex 1/A-B, Annex 2, Annex 3, Annex 4, Annex 5, Annex 6, Annex 7), the Conformity Letter (Annex 9) shall be drawn up by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. Where it is determined that the product does not comply with the related legislation, the Non-Compliance Letter (indicating the reasons) in Annex 10 shall be drawn up. The Communiqué covers the followings:

• cases for which Pre-notification is required prior to import
• when the Control Certificate is required
• products that are subject to Veterinary Entry Certificate
• Conformity Inspection procedures, Compliance Letter andd Non-Compliance Letter
• Customs Procedures; exemptions
• Annex 1/A - Animal and Products which are Subject to Veterinary Control (1) (Those that are Subject to Control Certificate)
• Annex 1/B - Animal and Products Which are Subject to Veterinary Control (2) (Those that are not Subject to Control Certificate)
• Annex 2 - Products used in Vegetal Food and Feeding Industry and, Substance and Materials in Contact with Foodstuff
• Annex 3 - Reproduction Materials like Seeds, Seedling, Young Plant and Bulbs
• Annex 4 - Veterinary Biological Products
• Annex 5 - Veterinary Medicinal Products and Raw Materials Used in the Production of Veterinary Medicinal Products
• Annex 6 - Plant Protection Product and Raw Materials Used in the Production of Plant Protection Product, Enticing Traps and Enticers with Protein Hydrolyzed Ingredient
• Annex 7 - Plants and Vegetable Products Which are subject to Agricultural Quarantine
