The purpose of this Communiqué is to regulate the principle and procedures relating to inspection of products (laid down in Annex to this Communiqué) at import with regard to their compliance to Regulation of Toys. Following subjects are covered in the Communiqué:
- Risk analysis and Risk Based Control System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS)
- Products to be forwarded to actual inspection
- List of Products, which are subject to Inspection on Import based on the Regulation on Toys
- Exemptions and Exceptions
- LETTER OF COMMITMENT TO THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY
- Product Inspectorates Group Chairmanships and Directorate of Customs and Enforcement within their area of responsibility
Products, which are subject to Inspection on Import based on the Regulation on Toys, fall in the scope of the following headings in Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule:

- 85.05
- 87.12
- 95.03
- 95.04
- 95.06
